Wayback Ltd is a charitable AOD (Alcohol and other Drug) Rehabilitation service established in 1969 by Dr Stella Dalton AM. It provides rehabilitation treatment for those experiencing significant social, legal, health and family problems due to their addiction to illicit drugs and/or alcohol.
Wayback offers both ‘abstinence’ or ‘harm minimization’ approaches to rehabilitation as well as the use of medications (such as methadone & Buprenorphine) in its AOD treatment plan.
Rather than isolating clients in a controlled environment, clients reside in community houses allowing them to learn and address their addiction triggers as they journey through rehabilitation. A total of 60 residential clients (male and female) can be accommodated in furnished houses in the Western Sydney region.
Wayback is staffed by a team of professional counsellors, social workers & administration personnel who bring a professional and holistic approach to address both the addiction and welfare needs of clients.
